I’ve spent a little bit of my guest blogging time extemporizing on certain things that I think sometimes need a little more extemporization. I realized that many people reading this wonderful website and Jeff’s blog might only partially be aware that we make wine at all in BC and that there are producers here who are fully certified organic, biodynamic and energy efficient. It’s not that difficult a place to be that way. So I thought that I’d introduce you to a few with a series of articles about some of the organic and biodynamic producers we have here in BC. The Wine Bloggers Conference wrapped up recently in Charlottesville, Virginia and I was very sad to not be able to attend this year’s conference. I was hoping to go and had voted for that destination as a location at the previous year’s conference. I followed friends who were there on Twitter and Facebook as best as I could. This is something that I’ve been mulling around for a while and I thought that readers of ConsciousWine.com might appreciate it, especially in light of Jeff’s previous posts about “natural wine” and this website’s ethos toward organic and Biodynamic® farming.
