2008 Adamo (Grenache, Mourvedre, Syrah, Counoise)
2008 Grenache
2008 Maiestas (Syrah, Mourvedre, Grenache, Counoise)
2008 Priscus (Viognier, Grenache Blanc)
2008 ReVera (Mourvedre, Syrah, Grenache, Counoise)
2008 Validus (50/50: Sangiovese, Tempranillo)
2008 Venustas (80/20: Tempranillo, Sangiovese)

I was traveling California’s Highway 101 South, past Paso Robles to Templeton, then another 5 or 6 windy miles to the gate of Ambyth Estate.

Before too long, owner/winemaker Phillip Hart and myself had our palates ready to go, and the audio recorder turned on.
