2009 Cowhorn Spiral 36
Cowhorn grows 3 white grapes: Viognier, Marsanne & Roussanne. Their first vintage included separate bottlings of each of these 3 varietals. The uniqueness was delicious to smell and taste, and they’re a great fit in Spiral 36 (approximately equal parts of the 3). This wine, like most Cowhorn wines, is small production and sells out rather quickly. Once you had Spiral 36 (in any vintage), you’ll be wanting more! 2009 Cowhorn Grenache Rosé

As delicious as this wine was, the fruit for this wine will be heading into producing more Grenache in the years to come. Considering how little Grenache they make, this is a very good thing! Jeff Weissler & Cowhorn’s Bill Steele taste & talk dry Rose and specifically Cowhorn’s ’09 Grenache Rose.
