A 10 year old Corison Cabernet (Kronos Vineyard, at their Napa Valley winery) is one of the gifts of California. The wines are not big, textured, forward fruit wines. They are elegant, beautifully balanced, well structured wines that will develop and unfold like real wine should. It’s refreshing to see a winemaker craft their wines without hurrying them along, leaving their souls intact.
