Ehler’s Estate

The beautiful old olive grove greets you as you drive in to Ehler’s Estate from Highway 29. The stone winery building was built in 1886. Kevin Morrisey (General Manager/Winemaker) and Kendall Smith (Vineyard Consultant) were taking a yearlong Biodynamic Farming Course at Rudolf Steiner College near Sacramento, which is where we developed a friendship, and learned how a biodynamic approach can be a key way to support the health of not just the farm, but the whole system. Ehler’s Estate offers a great gift in addition to delicious wines. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the sale of their wines go to supporting the Leducq Foundation, a highly regarded, not-for-profit foundation dedicated to funding international cardiovascular research.
