Tres Sabores
Driving up highway 29 in Napa, you make a left turn between Rutherford and St. Helena. A few more twists and turns and you come to the sign for Tres Sabores. The right side of their entry road is an insectiary (which is busy attracting beneficial insects to keep the troubling bugs away and encourage a balancing predatory cycle). As you park your car, abundant natural biodiversity is integrated into the farm in a way not typical in Napa Valley. The magic is only beginning. Guinea hens, sheep, pomegranate, olive trees, and soulful wine are part of the adventure soon to be encountered.
